Hope everyone on the list had a great labor day weekend.  We're still looking 
for talented Python developers
who are familiar with or want to pick up Django!  Here is the blurb, apologies 
if you've seen it before:

Python/Django Developer Sought

Arthur Frommer's BudgetTravel.com, a fast-growing travel website, is looking 
for 
a an experienced Django/Python developer for a new CMS implementation with 
migration of legacy content. Position is likely a 2-5 month contract, with a 
strong 
possibility of a full-time offer. We are located near Times Sq. Candidates 
should have: 

- Good communication skills and coding habits - a must have. 
- 5+ years experience in the programming sector 
- completed work with Django 
- unit testing in Python 
- optimization of Django or Python web applications 
- Strong Javascript skills, including JQuery 
- Familiarity with MySQL or PostGRES 
- Familiarity with Apache, mod_wsgi a plus 
- Experience with search technology. Familiarity with Solr or Sphinx a plus 
- Familiarity with Mercurial 
- Network knowledge a plus
