I understand that the lightning talks for this Wednesday are filled up; however, I wanted to throw out the possibility of giving a talk on using Python with real-time data acquisition at a future meeting.  Are there many users in NYC who work with real-time FGPA devices (e.g. Tucker-Davis Technologies DSP or National Instruments RIO)?  If there's a sufficiently large audience, I'd be happy to prepare a talk (either 5 minutes or longer).  The talk would be geared primarily towards research/scientific uses.
