The below might be of interest to Python folks. The news.me team are
great, as is the whole Betaworks ecosystem. This could easily lead to more.
Please followup with Jake, if interested. Reposted with permission, etc.

Subject: [betaworks founders] looking for consultant — python 5-10 hrs / week

News.me is looking to improve its parser, so that you all can read more
great articles on subway!
In order to improve the experience, we need to write custom parsers for a
handful of domains to extract metadata from news articles. Ideally this
consultant has experience with python, HTML, parsing, and beautiful soup.
If you have a friend who might be interested, please send him/her my way.
The consulting gig also comes with free coffee lessons from @myoung.
