Not having a lot of money to spend, but having a great zest for knowledge, and a Do-it-yourself attitude, I wanted to offer my toddler daughter an introduction to learning that would set her sure-footedly on her educational journey, instill in her good values and the concept that LEARNING IS FUN!

After visiting many preschool programs, I decided they were not for us and I went home and created a fun and exciting learning template, with which I homeschool my 3 year-old daughter every weekday. I have done a lot of research in child psychology, attended many classes for kids all over NYC (with my kids), read-up on early learning methods and incorporated tons of creativity and fun into my lesson plans-so that I can give my kid the best start possible without having to spend an "arm & a leg". We have had amazing results-my daughter counts really well in english and german, knows her alphabet, speaks in sentences using a large vocabulary, is learning to play piano, memorizes lyrics, can spell and recognize words, shapes, colors, is very loving and mannerly, sings songs, and (most importantly)- she loves to learn!

So, I have decided to take the program a step further, by incorporating a social aspect. Thus, I am offering this amazing program to you!

I am flipping the traditional, institutionalized preschool concept and making it into an experience that is high-quality, budget-conscious, flexible, convenient, child-centered and creative- with varying, fun themes. You can host a class in your own home (and receive a 50% discount [*if you have just one child attending]), or find a class that another member is hosting that is conveniently-located and scheduled for you. Please bring your budding Brainiac over to our incredible Roving Home Preschool program, where- (with consistency), gaining knowledge will become a habit. Each session they will be immersed in a new, interesting & educational theme, learn life lessons and develop social bonds with other attending kids!We will encourage sharing, caring for the environment & good manners. All to give our kids the best start possible, so they can excel at everything they do.

My approach is very child-centric and praise-filled, although some gentle discipline is utilized, I will concentrate on encouraging good behaviors and making learning fun. We will sing songs, learn about the ABCs & 123s, animals, plants, German, French, cooking, play learning games, fix puzzles, play iSpy, how to tell time, go on field trips & much more. There will be storytime, sign language time, music, art & crafts, educational videos and snack time. We will encourage sharing, self-control, caring for the environment and for others, good hygiene, taking turns & good manners. Occasionally we will even have a guest artist or speaker!

And because I believe that unstructured playtime is an important part of child development, I will be posting a few playdates too!

RECOMMENDED AGE: 2 years -5 years old

We are ROVING ALL OVER NYC, that means we will be having classes at the HOMES OF MEMBERS WHO AGREE TO HOST, (hosts get a 50% discount on class fees) or at various other locations throughout the city, (Museums, libraries and other places of interest). If no one elects to host a session it will be held at my home in Long Island City, Queens.

-Each class will last for approximately 1 hour, some classes may run a bit longer, (if we are having too much fun!)
-Classes are paid on an à la carte basis- ONLY $15-$25 per child per class.
-If you host a class in your home, you get a 50% discount!
-I will provide a juice and healthy snack if you request it.
-Siblings receive a 25% discount on their class total.
