I joined to go to hear some of the very best Reggae DJ's in the NY area spin and to expand my universe of friends by meeting new people that love Reggae music just as much as I do so that we can create new memories, together!

I'm a member & Organizer on several other Reggae groups on meetup that all work together to bring quality events to the lineup in line with the theme of the meetup!
Have you ever attended a Reggae show or party? If yes, where did you go?
I have been invited to just about every Reggae party, show, concert and special event in and out of New York! LOL!

Hi Grace, You asked for meet-up ideas so here goes. How bout Shaggy, Apache Indian, Third World, Burning Spear and Yellowman at Mexicali Blues in Teaneck, NJ? No can do? What? lol In all seriousness, Mexicali Blues would be a nice small to mid-size venue for a show. They have a nice sized space. I think the neighborhood would eagerly patronize some classic reggae, maybe not so much dancehall. It would probably also need to start earlier in the evening like 8pm or so. Fingers crossed.
