Test and or Behavior driven, cucumber, steak, rspec, and agile part II

Behavior Driven & Test Driven Development are Agile software development techniques that will make your code cleaner, your process faster and make you a more attractive articulate developer...

Well at least some of that is true. Discuss the costs of doing TDD & BDD, the best practices, tips, techniques and pitfalls. RSpec, Cucumber, Capybara, and potentially steak.

Being a neophyte I felt like I learned a lot. However, we never got to steak or deeply into cucumber. But I am definitely coming to the next one and it was fun.

As someone who is currently converting most of my Cucumber tests over to Steak, I find it helps cut out a lot of extraneous code. I think I will either stick with it, or wind up using vanilla integration tests with Capybara.

Another cool option for those who like the Cuke language is : http://github.com/hashrocket/unencumbered .

i might get a chance to try out Steak before the meetup, but I might not. Hopefully someone else might try it so they could share their experience with steak ?
