  • March 13, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Let's finish talking about Sandi Metz's book Practical Object Oriented Design in Ruby. We will cover the last 5 chapters. IF we have time, we will get to talk about some open source software and how we could do some refactoring make it less dependent and follow the principles professed in POODiR. We can retire to a local watering hole afterwards.

I might still want to ask about maps in constructors, though Evie and I did chat a bit about it. http://www.meetup.com/nycruby/events/159148242/

David A. Black, (author of "The Well Grounded Rubyist" (the second edition should be out soon)), who I have the opportunity to work with, is giving a talk for people who are just starting their Ruby adventure: bit.ly/1hK4mnv

I look forward to attending this meetup! I'm new to the city but I'm actually reading this book now, coincidentally!
