Job: Part-Time Rails Developer (Immediate Start) is looking for a part-time developer to begin working immediately.

For some background, the app has been developed utilizing Twitter Bootstrap and has several hundred hours of development into it. The current programmer has developed in Ruby on Rails utilizing Agile practices. The current methodology has been BDD (Behavioral Driven Development).

We are looking for someone with significant experience in Ruby/Agile/BDD development and is knowledgeable with Heroku (as this is where the app is currently hosted) and utilizes Github.

This has the potential to turn into a long term partnership as we are currently only in Phase One of a much longer term strategy. The app is and revolves around media content within the athletic community (an interest/passion for sports is a definite plus). Additionally, the site UX and branding is top notch, with comparisons to Nike/Gatorade in terms of quality (we have an in-house designer).

If this is an opportunity that interests you, please email me and lets discuss further. In your response, please include your background (including experience in Ruby on Rails, Agile, BDD, Heroku, Github) as well as what projects you have worked on utilizing these skills. Please also include your hourly rate. We are looking to ramp someone up immediately. The Company is based in Northern NJ, however, you will be working remotely.
