I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season. Just a quick reminders that our group runs will continue throughout the winter (including tomorrow morning, New Years Eve). Don't let the cold slow you down! Bundle up and start the New Year off right (and burn off all those extra calories that tend to build up over the holidays!)
Here's our weekly running schedule:
-Wednesday Night 6:30pm, all abilities welcome (we usually have a 3 mile group at 10-11 min mile pace, a 5 mile group at 8:30-9 min/mile pace and 7 mile group at 7-7:30 min/mile pace)
-Saturday morning 10am (same organization/groups as Wednesday nights)
-Monday SPEED night 6:30pm, a more advanced workout done at 9min/mile pace or faster. Workout varies week to week and includes a warm-up, workout, and cool-down (usually 6 miles all together). Spice up your training!
Also, we typically have many more runners than the RSVP list on Meetup says. We also promote the group in the neighborhood and through other networking sites and most nights get 10-30 runners. If you've been a member of NY Running Club but haven't been able to join us, make a fresh start in 2012! We hope to see you there.
