The New York City Drinking Skeptically Monthly Meetup

This month's Drinking Skeptically will be joining an invitation-only book launch party at the Italian wine bar Cellar 58 in the East Village! Join author Massimo Pigliucci at the exclusive launch event for "Philosophy of Pseudoscience: Reconsidering the Demarcation Problem." More info at:

Drinking Skeptically promotes fellowship and networking among skeptics, critical-thinkers, and like-minded individuals in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. We discuss the issues of the day and whatever else is on our minds. But most of all, we have fun!

Don't drink? Don't let that stop you from joining; we are happy to have you! Visiting New York from out of town? Stop on by! Skeptics are a friendly bunch and there's always room for one more...

Apple ( is located at 17 Waverly Pl. (between Green St. and Mercer St.) just one block from Washington Square Park in the heart of Greenwich Village.

We will have a reserved space near the bar.

See you there!

If the book launch at Cellar 58 is invitation only, what does that mean for the non-invited wishing to join Drinking Skeptically this week?

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
