NY Flash Meetup - Introduction to ActionScript

I even got a great recommendation for a book on the subject. Once again, networking was an important aspect of this Meetup and is a great tool for anyone working in Flash and the tech field. ”

“ I would love to give this a positive review, but I never made it past the front desk. Along with about 7 (or possibly more) other attendees my name was never entered into the system at the building. So I was reduced to writing my name onto scraps of paper and asking complete strangers to ask someone upstairs to add me. I did this 3 times over 30 minutes, and I was still never added to the system. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. At least 7 out of 50 of your participants were stranded at the front desk! There should have been an NY Flash representative at the front assisting people if it was going to be that much of an issue. WHY is this meetup help at Fortress Robert Half in the first place?! This reflects very poorly on both NY Flash and also on Robert Half. Neither side performed the proper preparations to handle this meetup. I am not the type to give up easily, so I will attempt another meetup sometime in the future. I hope that the kinks are worked out in the meantime. ”
