It is time for BetaNYC's annual "spring" weekend hack weekend - #CodeAcrossNYC!
On 22 & 23 Feb, we will double down on our open government advocacy and work with Manhattan Borough President, NY City Council members, and Community Boards to build useful tools on top of NYC's open data.
We are planning for a two day prototype-athon where civic hackers of all stripes can develop, design, or map out useful tools for NYC's government.
For those of you who are great technical writers, we are pulling together a tool that will enable City Council members, their staff, and Community Boards search, learn, and empower themselves with OUR tools.
Space is limited due to the venue's size and because we want a highly productive event.
If you have a chance, please share this event on your fav social media sites!!
