Job Postings

From: Jared L.

Hi all,

While looking forward to the meetup on January 31st with Sean Taylor I'd like to establish a new job posting policy to keep the list usable and spam free.

After some deliberation Wes and I decided that the best way to proceed for now is that prospective employers should email us a thorough job description--including title and company--along with their affiliation with the group.  If it meets the criteria we will post it on the meetup message board (  Depending on the frequency of postings we will also send a message to the list and/or send out daily/weekly/semi-weekly digests of recent postings.

We will be flexible and adapt our policy as we move forward, adjusting to the needs and desires of the group.  Please provide any feedback from an employer's perspective, a job seeker's perspective or just a regular member not interested in either.  But please contact us off list as to not have emails flying around between 2,300 people.

We hope this meets the needs of everyone involved and makes the list a better experience for everyone.
