Format for January "R Rosetta Stone" meetup

For the January meetup we are planning on discussing how basic programming functions, operations and paradigms translate between R and other common languages , i.e. a Rosetta Stone meetup. As part of the planning we would like to ask what your preference is for the format of this meetup. The first option would be to review how R translates from a single language that has wide coverage within our group. Given that many members have mentioned their proficiency in Python this would be the logical choice for this option. The second option, then, would be to cover multiple languages; focusing on the a smaller set of functions per language and their R equivalents. In this case we would focus on Python, as we all as Matlab, SAS and SQL. Please let us know which format you prefer by selecting one of the options below, and for planning purposes please have your vote in by COB Friday. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing everyone in January!
