Greetings to members of the NY Objectivists Meetup Group.

Since there are various levels of familiarity with the works of Ayn Rand I would like to make a suggestion for beginners on how to best move forward intellectually.

First off, read the works of Ayn Rand, particularly her novels, because they dramatize the philosophy. My recommended order is Anthem, then The Fountainhead, then Atlas Shrugged. This moves from simple, to more advanced, to her magnum opus.

Regarding her non-fiction, here is a good introductory article as well as a good book resource which covers her view of many topics:



And, finally, regarding social gatherings, this coming Saturday we will have our Atlas Shrugged reading group (see that event for more info) session from 3-5 PM. Afterwards we will go to dinner the the Grand Central area. Anyone who wants to join us to meet is invited.
