Agenda for Wed, August 13th:

This meeting is free.

Shortly after the July meeting, news about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac being insolvent began appearing in the financial media - something that we first predicted would happen in the fall of 2007. Within days the Fed and Treasury came up with a bailout plan, which has serious implications for the future of the markets. At the same time, IndyMac failed and became the largest Savings and Loan bailout in history. The failure of Indy Mac came as a surprise to the FDIC, which did not have it on its list of troubled banks.

6:30 - 6:45 Agenda for the day + Announcements

6:45 - 7:30 The Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Indy Mac Bailouts - Daryl Montgomery

7:30 - 8:00 - It's Not the Money You Make, It's the Money You Keep After Taxes - Stacy Sand, CPA

8:00 - 8:30 - Oil, Gold, Silver and Stocks - Daryl Montgomery
