Our next General Meeting is on Thursday, April 18th at the Estonian House

Agenda: The gold and silver market crash will be discussed and Dark Pools -- the large off-market transactions that are reducing transparency in stock trading -- and HFT (high frequency trading), which was probably involved in the crash.  We will also be having a talk on New York real estate.

General Meeting fee - $10 . Free for former speakers (for one year), people working on our meetup projects or helping with the meeting. Mini-classes are $20.

6:35 - 6:45 Introduction to the Group

6:45 - 7:05 New York Real Estate Update - Kelly Killian

7:05 - 7:40 The Gold and Silver Market Crash - Daryl Montgomery

7:40 - 7:50 Intermission

8:00 - 8:30 - Dark Pools and HFT: What Are They and How Are They Impacting the Market? - Daryl Montgomery (Nasdaq was originally scheduled for this talk, but will not be showing up. Find out why they may be trying to hide something.)
