Why Linux?

About 16 years ago I was running Win98 and I lost data & documents on several occasions. I went to work and found out that a co-worker was running something outher than Mac or Windows, so I sought him out and we became quick friends. The next day I went to Staples and bought Red Hat Box version 5 or so. It ran on my old spare 486 great, the rest is history so they say.

Hi I'm Ira Hyman, I've been going to NYLUG meeting for about 15 years now. I've even given a few presentations as well.
