The 2nd Annual

Show off your shimmy, shake and shine as we invite photographers of
burlesque and pin-up to participate in our upcoming gallery show celebrating

the glamour and glitz of the girl next door.

Come show off your shots at this very unique show which coincides with the NY Burlesque Festival.

There are two ways for you to participate.

1. For a very reasonable fee, YOUR work can be seen on the walls of a NYC art gallery! And here's the best part: it's all digital. So there's no expensive printing, framing, hanging, etc. You email your photos, and then they'll be displayed on the SoHo Gallery for Digital Art's high definition screens. Your work will be up at the gallery for one week, and you'll be eligible for prizes!

Get fans, build buzz and sell your work!

$25 for one image; a fantastic deal to have your photography in a NYC art gallery!
$60 for 5 images; to show off some variety!
$100 for 10 images; that's practically a full portfolio of YOUR work up on the walls!!!!!!!!!

2. Alternately, you can just come to the opening night event and have a great time!

(Entry fee for those NOT submitting work: $15, or just $10 if you print this page and bring it with you!)

· Prizes for Best Photo in Burlesque & Pin-Up!

· Win tickets to NY Burlesque Fest!

· Cupcakes & Coney Island Lager!

· Live Burlesque Performances!

· Photo Shoot!

· Artists keep 100% of sales!

· a few other surprises!

Show runs Sept. 24-30

This was my first time ever displaying my work and I was quite happy in which the gallery had done so. Was nice to see other photographers work and get to meet and talk with them.
The entertainment was great as usual. Had a real nice time.

It's great to have a venue to display your work and see it next to the work of others in the group.

Are we legally able to sell photos we took at the various Pin Up events if we don't have a model release? I think "art" has different rules than commercial, but I'm not sure it would cover this.

Is there a way to contact the performers for a model release?

    September 16, 2012

    • brandon h.

Our actual shoots always include a release. Our burlesque shows do not. If you wish to sell a burlesque-show photo, you'll need to contact the performer (on FB, or Google their name for a web page) and work out a release.
