Mutli Group Spring Cutback Highline History Tour

This event is being sponsored by The New York Social Network  WWW.NEWYORKSOCIALNETWORK.COM  and several of their partner Meet Up Groups.  The number of RSVP’s below reflect only a portion of those attending.  Please only sign up for this event if you are serious about attending. (We have a 3 flakes and you’re out rule). If you have any questions regarding this or any of our events please contact Dave Cervini directly at [masked] or call[masked]

See the Highline in a totally different way with the spring cutback which exposes a lot of what is covered during the summer.  Our tours are designed for fun and friendly members of NYSN and our partner social networking groups.  This is not a tour for tourists but for people who live in and around NY or who are new to the area who want to learn more about the city they live in and the amazing things they are surrounded by every day!  The Highline is New York’s most popular attraction! The Highline is an elevated freight train trestle that operated in NYC from the 1930’s to the 1980’s. After years of neglect The Friends of The Highline have saved the structure and transformed it into a beautiful park featuring many of the elements from its’ rich history! Your tour guide will share the history of the highline and the surrounding neighborhoods and show you amazing photo’s from before the trestle was built, while it was in operation and what it looked like while abandoned.

Join us for a fun afternoon of socializing and learning.  Following the tour the group will go out for food and drinks. $10 includes the tour only.

What to Wear: Dress casual/business casual. Wear comfortable shoes

What to Bring: A camera, a bottle of water for the walk and your sense of adventure!

What to Expect: 10-20 fun and friendly people who are looking to make new friends and learn a little about the city.

The group will meet at The Gastro Market Cafe between 11:30-noon-. (get there closer to 11:30am if you want to enjoy an adult beverage or snack with the group)

Please bring exact change $10.  We will send updates in case of poor weather.
