Would love to know the URL's to some of the videos played during the first 30 minutes. Some of the editing was nicely done and I'd like to review in more detail. Can anyone hook me up?

At Tubefilter, we know that there?s a lot of video on the web. A lot of it isn?t that good. Some of it is. We help you find that. We watch more web video than is probably healthy. We care about quality, original, scripted episodic web shows. Looking forward to connecting with you face-to-face!

    •  This was an awesome meetup. It was great energy and great to hear from the content producers.
    •  An excellent event. The selection of companies was excellent. The format (a panel discussion with questions from the audience) was very stimulating.
    •  This was a seminal event in the history of video in New York. The organizer was in top form and made sure the panelists provided the most useful information possible to the audience. A million thanks to him for putting this meeting together.

As always the venue is clearly the big winner. I felt let down as we could not have a real honest discussion as envisioned. The whole online video services has a lot of hype surrounding it. If I could have asked a question I would asked the panel how many would quit their current work and join up with the traditional Media companies such as NBC/ABC/CNN etc if they were made and an offer and told they had to can their online stuff. To me I feel that as much as this is all cool and trendy it, the people who are in it have some deep financial backing (trustafarians) or have a full time day job to fund such activities. Having said that, one of the panelists pointed out that we have not had a hit as such and when that happens things may change. Overall I liked the discussion but I still feel that there is a lot of gray areas and it seems like a lot of folks are just riding on the hype machine hoping to be snapped up.

I love the NYVideo meetup, but frankly I didn't care for the content creator panel this month. The discussion didn't offer any new information or ideas, as opposed to other months' product announcements and showcases of the latest web video technology. The content creators weren't doing anything particularly special to produce, market, or monetize their content-- most relying on Youtube to drive tune in to their individual web sites.
    •  Would have liked more time to network and more time for the "town hall" style meeting. Probably could have cut the intros down. But, that's a minor thing.

One of the best meetups, consistently. I thought last night was especially interesting--a real critical mass of deep thinkers on the issues facing the community.
    •  I learned some things.....and it was thought provoking.
    •  This meet-up was a great opportunity to connect with web video professional.

Yaron, Well done! You put together a good combination of topic and panelists while moderating the discussion in an organized yet informal manner. Victor

Meetup was focused, interesting, timely -- very informative and thought provoking. Certainly a "must attend" for the future.
    •  This was my first one, and it might serve the other members quite well, but I was personally hoping to see other, less content-driven aspects of internet video. More in-depth discussions of the business challenges, hearing not only what the "little guys" are doing, but also what the congloms are doing. I also don't think it was the most productive time spend on what to call this stuff "tv vs video".
    •  Very cool. useful and fun.
    •  Excellent panel discussions.

I thought it was good, Curator was great, a lot of panelist was not answering questions CLEARLY, he would ask them to clarify their answers. I think the theory of NY Video 2.0 should surround itself as a pop culture organization for web series and content, why talk about wat goes on now, u can craete a forum on craislist for that. Stay talking about new media, sales etc. It defeats the purpose on coming together to just talk for 45 minutes about whats going on now and 10mins on new technology, I just find that really backwards. NY Video 2.0 should be known as a Visionaire company, a head of time not current, after all, thats how Warren Buffet makes his fortune being a head.
