is presently available for consulting, contract, one-on-one,
freelance or fulltime....I have a big beautiful dream to pay for so I
could REALLY use the support and/or a long-term gig....

The big dreams are: 1) XYEYE.formula (strategy mapping for transmedia
& brand strategy intiaitives, creative and plans) 2) Obtention (a Sci
fi/mystery series; concept, building and plan for a transmedia
initiative including gesture based production concepts) both half way
    done.

I was only there for the Meetup and not for the entire Streaming Media East event, but the Meetup was great in terms of presentations. I did get the feeling that many people had been in the Hilton all day and seemed more keen on going home than staying for the end of the presentation, though I also have to take some of the blame for not arriving in time for the 5:30-6:30 networking opportunity. It was good overall though and NY Video did a (per usual) great job of bringing in interesting presentations and keeping everyone as engaged as possible.

I've been going to a number of the meetings for about a year now.

My beef with this one is that there was a lot of confusion with the start time. I'm not the only one because there were at least a dozen of us in the room expecting it to start at 530 when it didn't start til 6PM.

I also thought the last presenter was awful.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make the newtorking part of the event since I work until 5:30pm. The presenters were very informative with great feedback from the audience. I would hope that the time of the event would be pushed back to around 6:30pm to give me a chance to benefit from everything the meetup has to offer. I look forward to future NY Video meetups!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
