My first one.....enjoyed it. Kind of nice mix of tech stuff I'm unfamiliar with and plenty of stuff that I am. Nice people. Good atmosphere. Only downside was I lost my black "Freedom Files" cap. If anyone finds it, it's mine!

Great meetup. Interestign speakers and Yaron did a great job as a host. I will for sure attend next event.

This was my first event. Yaron, you are doing a wonderful job promoting and delivering. Especially enjoyed the hiring "green dot" idea as well as making all participants share their backgrounds when asking questions during and after the product demos. For future events at this venue, any assistance you could provide about managing wi-fi access would be helpful. Especially important to enable twitter commentary during presos / discussion to generate buzz outside event and NYC. Keep up the great work and see you next month. Erik

A/V issues and a somewhat awkward layout. early networking tough for people who have to work normal hours... Moderator was good again, and excellent attendees. A couple of nut jobs but what can you do.... Presenting companies were good.
  • Bob Petrie
Meeting was great. Well done Yaron. Great slate. Great venue. The flow may improve if speakers were to vacate the podium after the presentation, answering questions from the mic stand. That way next presenter can get setup during Q/A.

I was surprised at the presentation format, however I enjoyed the presentations. I thought it would be more of a mixer.
  • Nina Ziv
Good event though I think the Platform person was not really relevant to what the spirit of the event is.

New venue is cool. Liked Webster hall too though. AttracTV, Miro, and PortalVideo presented interesting concepts. The Platform offered good advice and perspective on th transition from start-up to acquisition by Comcast.

This was a fantastic event, from the beginning networking to the end. The presentations were all super interesting, and Yaron really gives his heartfelt energy to everyone, and really tries to connect people in a time when we all need it most. Loved the highlighted companies. A really special group and despite the size, everyone was very open and giving. THANK YOU Yaron

That was phenomenal: great insider tech insight, great company presentations, great community! Yaron - I dont know if the green-dot thing was your original idea.. but brilliant. Really great. Im pissing myself with enthusiasm.

Great synergy throughout the group and very productive as well. The nyvideo meet up is also run very smoothly.
  • Zach Harris
Too many presentations, too little schmooze and booze, job request section was useless... Also, WHY DID EVENT SPONSORS NOT GET AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF COMPS?

I thought the meeting was very nice and informative. It's good to hear what others are doing to technically advance the industry. One thing I was hoping for was to have more of an opportunity to present the jobs I had open. Only 5 people were allowed to talk about their jobs. In the future I'd suggest maybe having an area just outside the meeting place where the employers can gather and anyone who is looking for a new position can meet with all of us. It would make things easier for both the candidates and the employer. Otherwise the meeting was great and look forward to attending future events! Frank

last night's meetup was terrific as always. Great demos and inspiring presenters! This group is proof positive that despite the economy and doomsday news machines, video entrepreneurs are leading the way, inventing , innovating and hiring people. Thanks Yaron!!

It would me nice to have less companies present so they had more time. I would have liked to leanred more about each company.
