Hometown: Myrtle Beach-don't hold that against me
November 15, 2010
I grew up on the coast of South Carolina, spent 20 years in Maine. Living up north introduced me to winter activities I love.
Road riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing.
Toss up between Costa Rica and Vienna.
Probably 8 day rafting down the Grand Canyon.
Acadia National Park, Maine ( in July ).
Sounds good! Was everything ok today? Seems like you cut out a bit early
Ha ha... Yeah- My first "real" ride and it hurt so BAD. That cloud of leaf dust you left me sure wasn't helpful. Not to mention the climb up sidehill....:)
I am digging this rain...If you consider buckets digging tools.
Since you asked, the current project is wrestling into being a sculpture that has fluid mechanical motions. In late summer hope to have house renovation completed and enough art on the walls for an open house. Can keep you posted if you wish.
The forecast is 100% for rain between 5-7 and then it goes down to 80%. Chances are almost a given that we would get rained on so I am going to go ahead and say I am not riding. Would love to go another time in the near future.
5 at Rice Pinn. sounds good to me.
oh well, then there is still plenty of time. hopefully is won't be raining.
Are you still up for a ride on the 21st? For the W/E. Weather allowing of course.
I see that you aren't going to Dupont tomorrow, was hoping to see you there. I AM going to conquer my "bike gear phobia". Found some flat, quiet streets near my house. Hope to be able to do some kind of activity with you soon. Take care....MB
Hey Denise, Thanks again for the fun ride today! Hope to do it again sometime...
