Thanks Don. I really appreciate your encouragement. I was a bit discouraged and concerned about my abilities after the last Alcovy trip. But I'm certainly not going to give up. I am going to take a brief hiatus though. As I am leaving for my Belize dive trip on 4/11, I don't want to risk an injury. Also, I I had to send my dry pants off for repair as I blew an ankle gasket while cutting it last week. I'll get back in touch after I return. In the meantime, have fun on the river & be safe.

Hello, I have been whitewater rafting, and canoeing before but never kayaking. Is the lower green a good run for a beginner? I don't mind a challenge but I don't want to flip over my first time. Also, can I rent a kayak, wetsuite, and gear, and if so from where and for about how much? I just got back from a visit to FL and it really made me miss being on the water. I know it will be cold but that's what a wet suite is for right :)

I haven't demoed anything yet, I'm now thinking about a couple different boats including the Super Hero and the Liquid Logic Remix. I may buy something used at GAF this year. I may be heading to the Nanty on Sunday. Good to hear from you!

We had a blast! We're starting to keep an eye out for some whitewater boats to buy, but we'll be ready to go back down the Nanty with you guys anytime! I hope your class went well.
