I enjoy exploring the incredible beauty surrounding us here in the Blue Ridge Mountains and love getting together with folks to see what kind of adventures are out there to be had.
So far, it's mostly been hiking but I'm open to about anything.
I don't really have favorites, but probably my time in Brazil - the wild tour in the Pantanal, the breathtaking time in Chapada dos Guimaraes, and the magical journeying around Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park.
Possibly taking the Black Abyss Tour abseiling down into the glowworm caves near Waitomo, New Zealand and black water rafting by the lights of the glowworms.
Anywhere in nature that is free from the noise of "civilization".
Checking out outdoor meetup groups around Asheville.

Hi Ayela...I see you're going to the Pot Luck Social. Look forward to seeing you there. The hike today was lots of fun. Hope to see you at the Fine Arts tomorrow. Linda

Ayela, Welcome and thanks for joining Ladies who Love Live Theatre! We've already seen Angels in America as a group - but I am sooooooooo glad you are going. It is literally one of the best theatrical experiences I've ever had!! Hope you can also join us on a group outing soon. Warmly,
Donna
Hi Ayela. We've met in Easy Walkers. Next time I see you I will introduce us. We take lots of pictures of flowers when in bloom.
We enjoyed it too. Great lunch. Carly's still in awe of meeting her middle school band director's professor. Thanks for the history on the Hob Nob Barn. Definitely one worth trying out. Ryan sounded enthusiastic about the Coyote Kitchen, only about 1-2 miles from his dorm. See you on the trail.
I'm glad I could contribute something to the discussion and hope that it was at least in some way appreciated. I hadn't expected to go down the road I did but I'm thankful everyone was receptive. Thanks and I hope to contribute more in the future.
Hi Ayela,
Thank you for joining my group and welcome. As I view this group as belonging to all of our member's, if you have any suggestions for other walks/hikes feel free to let me know. I'll look forward to seeing you on the trail.
Regards,
Ron
