Introduction

I moved to NY and did my "eat, pray, love" thing and got out of my "fit zone" as I re-established my life back here at home. As a writer, I am at my computer and I have to get back out there and make the outdoors and fitness a priority again.

What are your favorite outdoor activities?

Horses! And hiking.

Where is the coolest place you've been?

NY was kind of cold... ;-) I haven't done a whole bunch - that is what this second half of my life is about now.

What's the most adventurous thing you've done?

I take off all the time to explore, but it may be small scale to some. Most adventurous to me would not be very adventurous to others... everything is an adventure to me.

Where is your favorite getaway spot?

I really loved hiking Lula Lake Falls. Lookout Mountain is my favorite mountain but I love horseback riding in rising fawn.
