This Meetup group is for those of us who love to hike with our dogs. We seek out the best dog-friendly trails in Oakland and nearby cities.
Bring your dog and let them enjoy a good run, a redwood forest, a sandy beach and all the places dogs are nuts about. We have both weekend and evening hikes ranging in 3-7miles. Hikes vary from easy to strenuous and the goal is to enjoy our hikes and dogs with other dog lovers.
With respect for our trails and fellow trail users, hikes in this group are kept to small sizes (6-8 hikers).
Anyone wanting to share a favorite trail, feel free to email me. I look forward to meeting you and your dogs on the trail.

It sounds like a hard rain's a-gonna fall this Friday. Let's celebrate the sun on Saturday by hiking the high road in Briones Regional Park. Briones is the CCCo park closest to Oakland/Berkeley, and it's a fine place to hike, indeed. With high hills and ridges, and a vast valley down the center of the park, Briones provides sweeping vistas of the Delta and the Mount Diablo corridor. Read more
