Open Gaming Every Friday Night!

We play and teach games all night long until midnight.  Drop in any time from 7:00 to 11:00 or so and you're sure to find something to play!  Bring your games from home or use any of the games from our extensive used game library.  We often have many tables going on at once for lots of variety.  The earlier part of the evening is ideal for families with kids.

We play all sorts of board games and card games on Friday nights, but also:

Got a favorite game you'd like to find others to play? Bring it along!  Let us know in advance if possible so we can help with recruiting players.

Our chess and Go guru Steve Bloom is often on hand to teach and play both, and will always confirm here if he's coming.  (Plus we have a separate Meetup for each every Sunday; for details see chess here and Go here.)

On 2nd and 4th Fridays we devote a table to roleplaying using the Pathfinder "beginner box" (simplified rule set).  This is a great way to dip your toe into the roleplaying ocean and see if it's for you!  The game will start promptly at 7:00 PM or, if you would like the extra fun of designing your own character (rather than using a "pre-set" one), host Christian Refsell will be on hand at 6:30 to assist you with that.  Playing the game takes between 3 and 4 hours.  (Experienced players can check out our separate Pathfinder Society Meetup, held every Wednesday, here.)

About once a month we include a Dominion group (host Sabrina Martin; to be notified, sign up at the separate Dominion Meetup page).

In addition to these Friday Meetups and the ones linked above, there are yet more game-specific events for adults and youth over the course of each week, including Scrabble, Magic the Gathering, youth Pathfinder, youth chess and youth Go classes/play, so check out our full schedule here. There's more to come, so be sure to stay in touch!

We request a donation of $3 to help offset the cost of keeping the store open so late every Friday.

Hope to see you soon!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
