Hello Laughter Lovers--
Just to be serious for a minute--we've noticed a lot of us are being chased by stress monsters. We run and run, but it doesn't help. And it takes a toll. We pay the price in so many ways, including that stress monster slipping uninvited into our bedrooms--a setup for insomnia. But there's hope!
Fortunately LAUGHTER YOGA is a great way to stop running and face the stress monster. It's a fact that the stress monster can't stand a group of people being silly and laughing together. In scientific talk, laughter lowers the cortisol (stress hormone) in our system, and releases positive chemicals like endorphins--yay!
So join us, and you might just end up feeling fabulous, having better connections with others--and maybe some sore abs from laughing so hard!
Let Annie know what stress monsters you'd like to laugh about, and she'll do her best to include them in the Laughter session.

Fun warm ups, laughter exercises, a rollicking laughter flow, and a relaxation will leave you blissed out!
No Yoga mats needed. Adults and older teens of all levels of physically fitness are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing for easier laughing.
Laughing with others is priceless. The Oakland Lifefire Laughter Club is $10-20 (sliding scale to make it affordable to more people).
