Pekiti Tirsia Kali facts:

-Pekiti Tirsia Kali is one of the oldest family martial arts systems in the world

-Founded in 1897, PTK is the only FMA system recognized by the Republic of the Philippines as having a centennial

-PTK is a complete system covering blade/impact weapons, empty hands, grappling and firearms

-PTK is the current blade system used by the Force Recon Marines and the Philippine Police Force

 

I am a PTKGO authorized group instructor. I teach the original Doce Methodos system outlined by the Pekiti Tirsia Global Organization.

 

We currently meet on the following days:

-NEW CLASS-Saturday 4pm to 6pm@Suigetsukan Dojo http://suigetsukan.org/ 

-Sunday 10am to 12pm@924 Gilman St http://www.924gilman.org/

*Classes usually run for two-three hours w/breaks*

 

*No experience required*

-Saturday is by donation ($25 a month is suggested)

-Sunday is a free class

 

Required equipment:

-2 rattan sticks

-2 rubber training knives (no metal training weapons)

-Eye protection

*if you don't have the above, I have a limited number of sticks and knives you can borrow*

 

I also suggest you bring the following:

- water/sports drinks/snack

- wear comfortable workout clothes
