The G web application framework.

Delphi is not only a great platform for creating visual applications, but for creating frameworks and server-side application servers. Steve, one of our founding members, will discuss G, the framework he created to run his online business. G uses some interesting features of Delphi RTTI (known as "Reflection" in the Java and .NET worlds) to automatically map business classes to web interfaces. G automatically takes care of such things as security, object persistence, and site generation, meaning that Steve is able to focus most of his attention on his business, and not his coding.

G is pretty mature now: it's in its third major revision, with each successive version incorporating new Delphi features, and the hard-won insights gained from daily use.

G is available for download and review on Google Code.   But if there's anything better than reviewing someone else's code, it's doing it while eating pizza.   Won't you join us?

I am sorry that I missed this presentation, but something came up at the last minute. It is too bad that we cannot make recordings of these presentations so people can view them later if they cannot attend. I know it makes the process more burdensome, but it was just a thought. I hope to attend next month's meeting.
