...and to one of the most important individuals who has never let any of the Blues jams down, over the many years, Rudy and his keys. When players arrive with guitars slung over their shoulders , or drummers with drum sticks in their back pockets, Rudy consistently arrives with, what is short of a concert back line set-up on his own- stands, key board, cables, plug-ins, and other stuff. Clearly, he is making up for his lack of physical actively while in the Air force. From all of us, we give a very special 'Thanks' for your love for the Blues and your most enjoyed participation at all the venues.

Great music and we had the best of times. Though we were a little lean, it opened up the floor to more playing time for all. The newbies did a very good job fitting in and adding to the Blues. I truly appreciate the volunteer back-up who all came through, and them some: Bob, bass; Mick, Ian and Jim on the amps, Jeff the harp, and of course Fred bringing the drum kit. We look forward to having NEW volunteers to step up for next months jam. The respect by most, was much appreciated by me and the management, in terms of volume control and response. Thank you all for an incredible afternoon of music and friendship.

I admit that I cannot play a musical instrument but I have the ingrained ability to listen and appreciate as well as anyone can play. That is my role ion music. I'm so glad I found this group!

Hey gang - I just joined the group and have not yet had the pleasure of coming to one of the jams. I see 30 musicians saying they are attending this jam on Saturday so far. With 30 musicians I'm wondering how much jam-time does each one actually get? Just curious...

Each set is 3 songs which comes out to about 20 minutes. After the organizer gets to the bottom of the signup sheet he goes back to the top to start over so it's hard to tell if you'll get more than one set. You'll get at least one set unless it's overly crowded. It also depends on what instrument you play. The best approach is to get there early.

We are all set, thanks to Fred Jim, John, Mick for the back line. Please no PEDALS on stage, just plain old amp power. We will also initiate a new acknowledgment to our back line volunteers that will continue at the Cantina Lounge; more playing time....Set up will be 11:15 ish, and when we have a forum-we play. Need one mic & stand
