Winter Festival At The Bowers Museum

Join us for the Winter Solstice  Festival at the Bowers Museum !

Bowers Cultural Festivals and Family Programs give families the opportunity to explore and experience the cultures of the world.

Generously sponsored by the Nicholas Endowment and Target provides free admission to the Bowers Museum up to 1,500 people

Please arrive by 9:30am to insure admission. Museum opens at 10am.

Sacred Realms: Temple Murals by Shashi Dhoj,

Spirits and Headhunters:,

In the Courtyard, you will find vendors, activities  and crafts for the Kids, and performances throughout the day until 4pm.

NOON: Ben Hale and the Eagle Spirit Dancers, perform the music and dance of Native America

12:30: Ek Balam, with Martin Espino, perform Maya inspired music and dance

1:30: Intermission

2:00 -3:15: Sandi Castleberry, Holiday music and sing-a-long of all our favorites

The Bowers Museum offers free admission to the museum on the first Sunday of every month.

Enjoy the last day of the holiday weekend with a cultural event !
