Goldman Sachs Building
Goldman Sachs Tower 30 Hudson St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 (map)
It was a good demonstration and march. We had I thought a good turnout given the time of day and it being a week day. The police actually helped bring attention to the event. I think we hurt ourselves with negative chants like "Goldman Sacks has got to go". To bring more people out we need to positively state our values and what we want. Chanting "Take back the American Dream"; "Tax the Rich not the Poor", "More jobs; no cuts" was positive. Lets persist and grow our movement!
To the community of OJC... thank you for all you're doing. I can not be with you tonight in person, but I am with you in spirit and offer you my solidarity and my voice. Hold tight to the fight and I will see you all Monday! May love, light, and the blessings of life, liberty, and happiness be upon you soon. 99%'er Miriam
There is increased police presence from exchange place to the goldman sachs building. They have the pathway blocked off infront of the building. The news is already down there, but remember that police presence is high. Everyone stay safe and stay nonviolent.
I'm desperate for signatures to a petition to end exclusionary zoning. Please consider signing this petition here http://wh.gov/gvP I've also posted 'Exclusionary Zoning Unconstitutional' at http://jamesrherman.newsvin... to elaborate and raise awareness. Thanks.
