Posted by sabrina brennan October 29, 2011 at 8:22 PMIt was a good sized group for a beginning, lots of people visible in front of the Courthouse along the curb on Broadway, quite a few people in cars going by honking and giving thumbs up. Hopefully more people realize this is about them, the 99%, and come out next time.

There was Singing, Sign Waving and the motorists were Happy to see us. There was a successful GA ... by successful I mean: There was Deliberation and Discussion on the actual Process. Much Disagreement ... people walked off even before the end and nothing got done. But everyone did agree this. We have to meet again to sort this all out. :)

the 23rd is a facilitators meet and greet/planning ...
the event itself is at 5pm on Oct. 28th in Downtown Redwood City, across the street from the fox theater.

I tried to see if anyone was at 400 County Center just this past Friday, but did not see anyone. I would like to have at least one other Veteran Occupy person there and I am game.

Also, massive amount of underground parking and people attending various events in the Theatre District. I am looking for ideas of where would be a good place for a Meetup. I am willing to take initiative, but I could use ideas from those that are good at planning these events.
