Whether you like it or not, chances are Monsanto contaminated the food you ate today with chemicals and GMOs. Monsanto controls much of the world's food supply at the expense of food democracy worldwide. This site is dedicated to empowering citizens of the world to take action against Monsanto during the week of September 17th, 2012.

I think that we still need to stand up, get the word out and try to saturate as many of these facilities, as possible. There's power even in small numbers. The more people we reach the better. I don't think we should roll over and take it just because we think it may not make a difference. Well, what if it does? You, being a farmer should be on the front lines fighting. We can all make a difference, big or small. You would be surprised at the amount of people who will be showing up.

If a "Roundup free" hybrid could be developed that is public domain, farmers expenses could go down drastically, less fuel would be used and our food costs would be stable. It would be a good idea but trying to get farmers, some of the most stubborn, independent people on earth, to get together and fund such a program would be extremely difficult. At some point, students need to get involved and occupy the research facilities and work for the good of the people instead of the universities.

I think Monsanto would just laugh at a few people with signs outside their offices. It might get some news coverage but the real war should be waged in the laboratories at universities or, better yet, independent labs. Universities are profit driven and funded by... you guessed it, Monsanto and others. Through private funding, places like Batelle or other "think tank" organizations can develop natural hybrids that can kill both weeds and insects sans the ball and chain from big M.
