Calling all fulltime, freelance and would-be-writers! Join an ecclectic group of creative people for rousing conversation and practical direction on all facets of the creative life.

Our gatherings usually go something like this:

6:00 to 7:00: An informal time of eating together, catching up and networking. We meet at Cucurus Gallery Cafe in Old Colorado City. Cucurus has AMAZING food and desserts, so come hungry!

7:00 to 8:30: Meeting
During the first 30-45 minutes we catch up on each others careers and goals. Also, we're having fun getting better acquainted with everyone's writing style, so feel free to bring something you've written and read it to the group. You'll have two minutes. We don't critique what you've read--we just wanna hear your writing "voice"!

--The rest of the meeting we focus on a topic. We may have a group discussion, a workshop or guest speaker. We talk about things like increasing marketability, finding an agent, scriptwriting, using fiction techniques in nonfiction, internet marketing, creating book proposals, and so on.

We look forward to having you join us!!

This is a rich group of inspirational people. The attitude is upbeat and the conversation is lively.

I believe that there is much to learn from this fine group of writers, and I look forward to grabbing all the tips they can offer.
