Peace in Motion Café Movie Night Presents: Ethos

Peace in Motion Café Movie Night is a great place to meet other conversationalists, an opportunity to support community activism, and a perfect third date at Center for Living Peace!  Each month, a socially stimulating film is screened with group discussion following.

Event is café style – Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beer and wine refreshments.  Wine glasses will be provided, but please help us out by bringing your own utensils and plates.

This month’s film synopsis:

Hosted by the two-time Academy Award® nominated actor and activist Woody Harrelson, ETHOS lifts the lid on a Pandora’s box of systemic issues that has proven to have a negative impact in every aspect of our lives. From the environment, our democracy and our personal liberty to conflicts of interest in politics and unregulated corporate power, we cannot change our system until we know how it works. From director and activist Pete McGrain, ETHOS sheds light on how we can affect change. With interviews from influential thought-leaders including, author and activist Noam Chomsky (Manufacturing Dissent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media), Chalmers Johnson (Blowback: The Sorrows of Empire), Oscar winning documentarian Michael Moore and Howard Zinn (A People s History of the United States) to name a few, ETHOS will show you how to make meaningful and sustainable change in order to create a world where we can live harmoniously in a clean environment.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
