Hi fellow movie fans!

If you enjoy movies and are looking to meet new and interesting friends, then this is the group for you!  We can never get enough of great films, so we try to have at least two Meetups per week.  We may see a new release and/or go see a discount movie at Woodbridge ($2 movie ticket plus a free milkshake at Ruby's - you can't beat it!)  We also are passionate about indie flicks and will regularly see films that are off-the-beaten path yet usually delightful.

We are fun and diverse, with ages ranging from twenty-something to seventy-something and hail from far-flung places like Dubai, Scotland, Pittsburgh and New Jersey.  As such, all are welcome, including singles, couples, and/or groups of friends.  All we ask is that you are 20+ and enjoy good, light-hearted conversation following the films.  If you have any suggestions for movies that you would like to see, then let us know. We're always open to new ideas!

However, we do have ground rules that we take pretty seriously.  For one thing, if you are a downer, please don't join this group; we are generally upbeat and save our criticism for movies.  Also, be respectful of other members.  We formed this group because of our passion for movies.  If you are into reenacting the Civil War, then set up a Meetup group promoting Civil War reenactments.  If you obsessively promote your next reenactiment event in the comment threads or at Meetups, you will be banned from the group, no apologies.  There are a few other rules, but we can't think of them right now; besides, the next movie is about to start and we'll get kicked out if we don't put our phones away.
