OCRuby hackfest

Get togethers on Thursday nights that are not the monthly OCRuby meeting.   Experienced programmers are on hand to discuss problems or guidance you are looking for with regards to Ruby, Rails, Rack, Sinatra, databases, Heroku deployment, Github & Git usage, as well as related topics.

If you own a laptop, it's recommended you bring it if possible.  Open wireless is available for you to access Github, documentation for your learning needs, or even deploy your applications.

While the meetings are very informal and all are welcome to attend, it's advisable if you are learning to show up with specific questions or problems people can answer for you.  Even 'where do you think I should start?' counts as a great question, but be prepared for an answer!

Hope to see you there!

Oops. Sorry I was a no-show. I had a sudden family matter to attend to. I didn't have any specific questions (about contributing to AsciiDoctor) lined up yet, anyway. If/when I do, I'll start a discussion topic on the message board.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
