Mild hiking, camping and easy single night backpacking trips in GA and TN. Interested in hiking more in southern utah, the Kaibab plateau and the arizona strip this fall.
Gosh, that is hard to say. We used to go the Buffalo River in TN every Memorial day to canoe and camp, this year is the 29th annual trip. I'm not going this time. I love hiking out west, I went to Zion last November and am completely enamored with southern UT. We rafted the Colorado while out there, too. I hope to get another group to go out there in the fall. I love las vegas, and go there as often as I can. Hmmm. Rock Island state park in TN is gorgeous and has some great hiking - easy or strenuous. Lots of waterfalls too.
Hmmmm. Hiking the Grand Canyon (south rim, trying for the north rim this fall), scrambling Hanging Rock in NC, spelunking with a ranger in TN. A few weeks ago we did a short one at Badwater Basin, Death Valley CA. I don't really have all that many adventures anymore, I like a less rigorous pace.
Las Vegas, UT/AZ, South Beach, Outer Banks, NC,

My name is Cindy, I am a transplanted Tennessean living in Athens now. I found this group recently; even though I've been a member of MeetUp for some time, I hadn't checked in to it in quite a while. I am excited to see an Athens Outdoors group now
