SF Online Community MeetUp is the free monthly gathering of online community managers, enthusiasts, and innovators to meet and discuss tools and strategies for building and managing effective communities.
Curious about how design thinking might benefit your online community? Betty Ray, senior editor and community manager at Edutopia.org, is a long time community manager (starting in 2000 at Live365) and design thinking coach. Attendees will participate in a quick design thinking exercise, with a discussion after on how we might be able to use design thinking in our daily lives -- within our communities, our companies or organizations, or both.
Here are all the ways you can take part in the event! Feel free to participate in any and all of these ways:
Follow the action on Twitter: hashtag: #octribe.
Watch the event live on our ustream channel. We'll start streaming at 7:15PM. If watching on ustream remotely please change your RSVP to "no." so we have more spots for people in-person.
