Dear OCTribe,

You are invited to the Mozilla Ignite Idea Jam being hosted at TechSoup Headquarters this Thursday, August 9 at 5pm.

The Idea Jam is the first phase of the Mozilla Ignite App Challenge, a joint project of Mozilla and the National Science Foundation. The Mozilla Ignite App Challenge invites you to create an application that uses the next generation of super high speed Internet networks to solve social sector problems and improve communities. Top ideas are eligible to win prizes ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 in the first phase of the challenge.

Nonprofit and NGO professionals, developers, social entrepreneurs, and anyone (techie and non-techie alike) with a vision for using technology for good is invited to attend and share their ideas. More information about the Ignite Idea Jam and how to RSVP to attend is available here: Or head directly to the good part by RSVPing here:

Hope to see you Thursday!
