Photowalk: Fillmore District

How many of you just want to come out and play and explore? My photowalks were interrupted due to weekend work schedules, but they are once again on the schedule!

This time we will meet in the heart of the Fillmore District.  Sunday afternoons is a great time for people watching, as many cafes and restaurants have outdoor seating. We will meander up and around Fillmore Street until we reach the top of the hillat Broadway with a view down to the bay. Then we'll head one block over to Steiner and continue on to Alta Plaza Park, where we'll conclude our photowalk.

Bring your flash - or not, but definitely bring your camera and yourself. All levels are welcome - this is a play date!

We will meet at the corner of Bush and Fillmore in front of the Walgreen's. Public transport is plenty (22, 2, 3, 1 buses all traverse or cross Fillmore close to this intersection.) If arriving by BART from the East Bay, get off at Montgomery and take the 2 or 3 bus along Sutter. From the South Bay get off at 16th Street and take the 22 bus.  For you car drivers, it's street parking only.  This event is FREE and I'll schedule one every month. Please post your suggestions for future photowalks in the Ideas section. You may bring a friend (or spouse masquerading as an assistant), but do tell them how to join this group.

Won't be able to make it today. Running late and traffic looks heavy over bay bridge. Sorry to miss.

Bob, as described, it's Bush to Broadway, one block to Steiner and over to Alta Plaza Park. You can check mileage on Google Maps.
