This month we will have a chance to photograph the Winter Solstice full moon. I'm still scouting for a new location that allows us to see the moon soon after it rises along with an interesting foreground. We will also explore night photography.
You will learn how to balance your moon exposure with the rest of your composition and learn some secrets on how to get a big moon. I will also share my secrets on how to calculate the best locations and prepare for your own future full moon shoots. Moonrise will be at 5:10pm and sunset will be at 4:51pm, almost ideal conditions for a balanced exposure.
Bring your camera, a medium and long lens and a tripod. A cable release or wireless remote is helpful.
Exact meeting location will be mailed to paid YES RSVPs.
(Rain cancels and full refunds will be made)
