Lacombe Park

I went to Lacombe Park in St. Albert today to check out the park. Several of you have expressed an interest in going to this one. It's a nice park. In the summer it will be really nice as it has a huge pond where the dogs will be able to cool off and get a drink. Right now the pond is frozen over. The park is a big circular park with a gazebo at one end. The walk is all cement, so it is a good park for strollers. There is 2 ways to get to the park whichever is easiest for you. The 1st way is going North on the Anthony Henday and taking the McKenney Avenue exit. Go approximately 2 kilometers and turn left (North) on Morgan Crescent. The 2nd way to get to the Park is from the city, take St. Albert Trail North to McKenney Avenue and turn left (West). (McKenney Avenue is the first set of lights after you pass the Mall.) Go approximately 2 kilometers and turn right (North) on Morgan Crescent. I'll be set up at the Gazebo. Looking forward to walk the walk and talk the talk. If you get lost or are going to be late call me on my cell [masked]. I'll only have it on for the walk. Jean Coates, Organizer Sam. Vickie & Vegas

Awesome - especially for those of us that could keep our dogs out of the pond. Spring is always a chalenge to find an area to walk fido without coming home covered in mud.
Maggee enjoyed rolling on the snow on the frozen pond.

Great walk. Lot's of owners (31) and lots of dogs (large, medium & small). The park good, a little small though so we walked it twice.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
