Patricia Ravine Off Leash Park

This picture was taken January 5, 2013 at Patricia Ravine Off Leash Park.

Our next meetup will take place at Patricia Ravine Off Leash Park on Saturday, July 20th @ 11:00 a.m. The walk will take approximately 50 to 60 minutes return.

Why? Because you know your dogs want it!

This park is very picturesque, with lots of trees, hills & valleys, a ravine and we eventually end up at the River.  I would suggest that you wear runners and not sandals as it might be a little bit muddy with all the rain we've had.

To get to this park, from the Whitemud Freeway, take the 159th Street exit. Go South on 159th Street and make your first right turn on 78th Avenue. Go a little past 163rd Street and you'll see a sign on the left hand side of the road called "Patricia Ravine". You will also notice the Off Leash sign there. (It's across the street from the School park.) There is lots of street parking. Go down the stairs where the Off Leash sign is and you'll see me set up at the bottom of the stairs. Don't look at the Google map, as it never seems to be correct. Just follow my instructions. If you get lost or are going to be late, call me on my cell 780/690-5256. I'll only have it on for the walk.

Looking forward to walk the walk, talk the talk and bark the bark on Saturday, July 20th @ 11:00 a.m.

I was sorry to be late and missed the group, glad we at least got to say hi. I absolutely loved Patricia ravine, my dogs and I wound up walking 2 hours there. Can't wait to find other new areas, we are truly blessed in this city.

It was a good walk and a beautiful treed park. Not as muddy as I thought it would be. The dogs had a great time running up and down the hills to the Ravine. We celebrated Snowballs 9th birthday; Skolls 3rd birthday and Samanthas 1st birthday. Congrats to Patrick who won the prize this week.

We're missing you guys, but Jim and I are volunteering to work the beer garden at Taste of Edmonton, for Y.E.S.S. on that shift. So we'll have to see you the next weekend.
