Lacombe Park, St. Albert

Such a nice Canada Day today and so many new members on our walk. Welcome to you and our regular members. I hope you and your dogs had a good time! I think they did by the pics I posted. Our next organized walk will take place at Lacombe Park in St. Albert. It's a nice park. It has a huge pond where the dogs will be able to cool off and get a drink. The park is a big circular park with a gazebo at one end. The walk is all cement, so it is a good park for strollers. There are 2 ways to get to the park whichever is easiest for you. The 1st way is going North on the Anthony Henday and taking the McKenney Avenue exit. Go approximately 2 kilometers and turn left (North) on Morgan Crescent. The 2nd way to get to the Park is from the city, take St. Albert Trail North to McKenney Avenue and turn left (West). (McKenney Avenue is the first set of lights after you pass the Mall.) Go approximately 2 kilometers and turn right (North) on Morgan Crescent. I'll be set up at the Gazebo. Looking forward to walk the walk, talk the talk and bark the bark. If you get lost or are going to be late call me on my cell (780) 690-5256. I'll only have it on for the walk. Jean Coates, Organizer Sam. Vickie & Vegas

Wonderful park, nice day, and the dogs had fun swimming and running. Thanks for helping me find the park when I phoned, then waiting for me.

As it is so convenient to my home, we enjoy going to Lacombe Park. Maggee enjoyed being able to go swimming - the water appears to be clean. The walk around the pond is rather short but enjoyable - maybe we could take the longer pather next time - weather permitting, of course. Human CLEAN bathroom is a definite plus!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
