Nice day for our walk today. Angel took Monkey for a walk. Mindi for some reason was very popular with the other dogs today. London and Peaches were having a great old time chasing each other. The river was welcomed by all the dogs today as they were very hot and thirsty. Welcome to Pam a first timer with her dog Oswald. She actually drew her own name for the prize! Our next walk will be on Saturday, August 21st @ 11:00 a.m. at Dawson Off Leash Park. This is a multi-use park so there might be cyclists and joggers. For those who haven't been to Dawson Off Leash Park, it runs along the North Saskatchewan River. Go South on 95th Street off of Jasper Avenue. Get right away into the inside lane and turn left at the first set of lights. Follow the road and turn left at 89th Street (before you get to the bridge). The Dawson Bridge is presently closed. Take your 1st right into the parking lot. After parking you'll see me set up at the left of the parking lot in the grassy area. (Don't look at the google map as it's always wrong. Just follow my instructions.) This park has a fantastic photo scenic stop to take great pictures of the Edmonton downtown skyline. We will stop there for a few minutes for people who wish to take pictures for xmas cards, or whatever. If you get lost or are going to be late, you can call me on my cell[masked]-5256. See you there. It's a great park for those who haven't been! Looking forward to seeing you and your pooches on Saturday, August 21st @ 11:00 a.m. to walk the walk; talk the talk; and bark the bark! Okay, although the construction was a bit irritating (and the smell!)

Except for having the dogs on leash for the construction area, the park is great! We even got a bit of a workout (the owners I mean). The dogs always get a workout! A little smoky today, so the skyline was a little to hard to see.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
